IIJS 2010 Robbery Case
The sensational India International Jewellery Show (IIJS) diamond heist case has been solved in less than 24 hours. Mexican nationals who stole a box containing 889 carats of diamonds estimated to be worth $1,450,000 from the Dalumi Diamonds booth at show were arrested.
This is perhaps one of the few cases where goods stolen at an international gem and jewellery trade show have been recovered, and certainly the one that has been solved the fastest.
The intelligent registration tracking & its algorithms were used efficiently by us to track down the possible suspects. The detailed data helped the Mumbai Police/Interpol to crack the case.
Across the industry there was widespread appreciation over the quick solution and a lot of praise for the procedures and systems that have been followed at the show.
